DriveXpert: Black box car insurance from Privilege

Black box insurance is also known as telematics insurance gives you an upfront discount and analyses your driving with the aim of saving you money. We use telematics technology to track your driving and the safer you are on the road, the more you can potentially save on your renewal.

Here’s how it works:

1. When you take out a DriveXpert policy we’ll send you the plug-in unit. This black box is simple to install, and no special skills or tools are needed. 
2. Once you’re on the road, the telematics plug-in will track how you drive, paying attention to things like braking, acceleration and cornering.
   
3. Login to the DriveXpert portal to view your driving score and see how you can improve. 
4. Drive safely and get a high driving score, and you’ll be rewarded with a discounted premium when you renew your policy.
   

Remember, the DriveXpert plug-in is only available for cars manufactured later than 1996.
