What is Privilege Car Maintenance Services?

Car Maintenance Services, provided by RoadServe, is an added benefit with Privilege car insurance at no extra cost. It will save you time, money and hassle on your MOT, service and mechanical repairs. Just think of RoadServe as the reliable middleman between you and the garage. Whether it’s a fiddly repair or a thorough check-up, they’ll handle everything from the moment your car is booked in.

What are the benefits?

  • No extra cost to join. Membership to this service would cost £89.99 if you bought it directly from RoadServe. But with Privilege Car Insurance, it's included in your policy at no extra cost.
  • MOT and service reminders. RoadServe will send you a reminder before your next MOT is due. And if you provide them with your service date, they’ll remind you about that too.
  • Reduced rates at more than 15,000 garages nationwide. From main dealers to independents, RoadServe’s network of approved garages offer reduced rates to members. And with thousands available across the UK, there should always be one near you.
  • 10% of members saved at least 50% in 2018. RoadServe charge a 6% admin fee for their service, but if your total savings are 6% or less, then you won't have to pay the fee. In 2018, 10% of RoadServe customers saved at least 50% after the fee.
  • Work guaranteed for 12 months. Or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Either way, you’ll still be in good hands even when the job’s finished.
  • Qualified mechanical experts by your side. Forget about confusing conversations with the garage. RoadServe will deal with them on your behalf and make sure you only pay for what’s needed. They’re a savvy bunch.

How do I make a booking?

Getting started is easy. If you haven't already, activate your Car Maintenance Services membership online using your car registration and insurance policy number. Click 'book a garage', then log in to access the MyGarage area of the website, where you can make your booking.

1. Choose a garage

There are more than 15,000 available in RoadServe's network. Many offer a collection and delivery service too.

2. Choose a date

Choose your preferred available date and RoadServe will confirm your booking with the garage.

3. Drop off your car

RoadServe will talk to the garage, keep you in the loop and always check you're happy to go ahead with any work.

4. Get your car back

Once the work is done and you're reunited with your car RoadServe will be in touch to settle the bill.
